Before installing SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) flooring, first ensure that the subfloor surface is level, dry, and free of grease or other contaminants. Any uneven surface will affect the installation and durability of the flooring. If the subfloor is uneven, you will need to make adjustments or use a floor laminate.
Before installation, remove all obstacles from the floor, preferably by moving furniture etc. outside or to another room. This will allow the floor to be laid more smoothly and avoid accidents or disruption to the construction process.
The ambient temperature for the installation of SPC flooring should be kept above 18°C and the humidity controlled between 45-65%. To maintain this ambient temperature and humidity, you can turn off the air conditioner or humidifier before construction to prevent the floor from being affected by moisture and temperature.
Leave the SPC flooring in the installation room for 24-48 hours to allow the flooring to acclimatize to the new environment. This will prevent the floor from shrinking or expanding due to temperature and humidity differences.
Prior to installation, make sure that all the required tools have been prepared. These tools include floor saws, protractors, hammers, pencils, hand saws, floor corners and adhesives.
If you have any questions about the SPC flooring installation process, consult your SPC flooring supplier. They can provide you with detailed installation instructions to ensure you install your flooring correctly.
Before installation, use a pencil to mark the layout of the room on the floor. This will help you install the flooring more easily and ensure you are happy with the final result.
During the installation process, make sure the work area is safe. If there are any sharp or dangerous objects on the floor, remove them first. Also, make sure you use safety precautions, such as safety glasses and gloves, to avoid accidents.
